As a fine artist with over 50 years of experience, I specialise in creating lifelike oil paintings and detailed pencil drawings. Every work I produce is a labour of love, designed to capture not just a likeness but the spirit of the subject. Creating meaningful, lasting art is not only my profession - it is my passion.
The Commission Process
Each commission is approached as a collaborative journey. Together, we explore the subject and refine the details to ensure the finished work reflects your vision and holds personal significance.Works may be created in pencil, mixed media with watercolour, or oil on canvas, depending on the subject and the qualities best suited to the piece. Scale is carefully considered so the artwork sits naturally within its intended space.Pricing is discussed individually and transparently, taking into account the scope and complexity of the work.Regardless of size or medium, every commission receives the same level of care, precision and attention to detail. The aim is always to create a finished piece that is both visually compelling and deeply meaningful.
